This is the archived 0.9.0 version of the Interactive Whiteboard overview, published before GA for traceability of the early API design. Read the current Interactive Whiteboard overview instead.
Scope of 0.9.0
- Only room creation and scene listing.
- Scene switching used
PATCH /v1/whiteboard/rooms/{uuid}/scene-state. - Strokes, images, snapshots, replay and room tokens did not exist yet.
Differences from 1.0.0
1.0.0 added scene content, undo/redo, snapshot export, the replay timeline, members and the token system. The 0.9.0 request/response fields remain compatible but receive no new capabilities.
Upgrade advice
Use the 1.0.0 room and token endpoints directly; 0.9.0 clients do not need to migrate data and room UUIDs stay valid after the upgrade.
